These Muesli Bars will give you energy – a healthy nutritious snack.

Ingredients

1c processed oats

1c shredded coconut

½ c slivered almonds

½ c crushed walnuts

½ c pepitas

½ c flaxseed

70g organic coconut butter

¼ c rice syrup

2tbs cinnamon

¼ tsp vanilla essence

How to make Alli’s Muesli Bars

  • Line a tray with baking paper. Roast oats, almonds, coconut, pepitas and flaxseed over a medium heat in a non stick fry pan with a spray of olive oil and set aside.
  • Heat coconut butter, vanilla essence and rice syrup over a medium heat until a liquid.
  • Stir over the dry ingredients, add in the cinnamon and mix well.
  • Spoon into tray and refrigerate until set.
  • Cut into small squares and eat as a snack.
