To build confidence I believe is to work on your self esteem and self worth first. Once you have mastered this you will feel confident about yourself and situations or choices you make. You need to look at your attitude towards yourself and put on paper one side the things you like about yourself and your past achievements and on the other side the things you dislike about yourself and the things you wanted to achieve but couldn’t due to lack of confidence. Don’t panic about the uneveness between both sides. What you then do is put all your focus into the things you like about yourself and your achievements, read them and feel them like you are having all those good positive feelings about yourself now. Then put together a mantra of your positive side and read it to your self every single day for at least 21 days. You will be suprised how your mind shifts to your subconscious thoughts (look at my blog on mindset training for understanding more subconscious thoughts) coming through moving all the negatives things you disliked about yourself into the positive side and the things you couldn’t achieve because of lack of confidence, now feeling more confident. You need to be consistent and confident with this process, remember positive thoughts creates positive flow. You can then use the power of your imagination to visualise the best version of yourself and attract your positive dominant thoughts on a daily basis to become confident in any situation. Your thoughts will always be a reflection of you, so this a reflection of what is in the process of what your becoming will continue to become stronger the more you achieve things. So get out and about amongst the world to build your self confidence, practice builds confidence skill power!
